Cullen Hoback’s a Moron [My Thoughts on “Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery”]

Watching the “Money Electric” Documentary from HBO while I enjoyed some of the talk about CyherPunks I do find it interesting how it focused a bit on Amir Taaki a British-Iranian programmer who was involved with People’s Defense Units in the Syrian Civil War and how it was he who got under Satoshi’s skin back in the day for talking about WikiLeaks on the Bitcoin Talk Forum back in December 2010.

One thing I will admit the fact they didn’t shy away from being honest about the Old School/Non-Corpo BitCoiners makes me happy to see as that was always and still is a major issue I have is the greedy rotten people whose infected and bastardized what used to be something amazing; something that was created for the betterment of humanity.

Sadly, around a quarter into the movie the director Cullen Hoback who got famous for “Terms and Conditions May Apply” and “Q Into the Storm” starts grasping at straws to say the least. I would say drop watching after about 40 Minutes into the movie.

I wouldn’t bother getting HBO Max or whatever the hell it called now just to watch it, but if you already have an account give it a watch.

I personally think we need a better CypherPunk/BitCoin Documentary rather than this slop that is being released.
