CoffeeZilla vs Monarch: The Counter-Strike Drama

So at first I was writing an article for the OrbitGrave blog related to the Urusei Yatsura and Ranma ½ reboot but then the shitshow about CoffeeZilla and Monarch from CS:GO Empire.

So for those of you who are unaware Monarch is the current owner of CS:GO empire who got his start in the online gambling scene all the way back in the early 2010s though a RuneScape based gambling site called “BigBoiBets” at the tender age of 13 and sadly for him things were great until Killian was basically trying to push Monarch into things like performing DDoS attacks and the drug Modafinil to improve his productivity now Modafinil is a stimulant primarily to treat narcolepsy

Personally I was not part of the BigBoiBets era, but I was very much aware of this site due to the fact I was busy playing Eve-Bet so I could bet using my stolen ships, bounties and mining profits from Eve Online. Killian [iZinC] would later do things like attempting to strong-arm Monarch out of his cut in BigBoiBets and as Killian was an adult praying on a [at the time] minor to be his lackey for lack of a better term.

Monarch was making a profit and trying to help keep things running smoothly, scared to lose what he clearly put a lot of time, effort and skill into.

So imagine my shock as I was about to go to sleep when I was linked a video uploaded Dec 18, 2024 from self-proclaimed “Internet Detective” CoffeeZilla entitled “I Got Bribed by Casinos, But I Exposed Them Instead” right as I was about to go to sleep.

I decided to dive in headfirst and sweet lord looks like I am going to be up for a while yet; thank god I had today set aside for recovering after a long week.

After watching the video, I also went to look at Part 2 which was behind a paywall, luckily I had someone who was subscribed, and we watched it together taking notes.

I was upset how dirty Monarch was treated in Part 1 of the video, thankfully in Part 2 of the video they only briefly bring up Monarch’s history and the fact Killian was the owner of CSGO: ROLL, the site that Monarch had the major issue with.

Personally, I believe that is a major factor in this story, but we still have some extra parts to the video series, so let’s hope he actually brings up the fact Monarch wants to make gambling a better space online as someone who loves Poker.

Now I am no saint myself, far from it. I actively link STAKE.COM as a sportsbook, and I used to have a close friend who I knew in person that was a hellcase backed streamer.

Just putting that out there as I believe that Monarch and I have similar goals, we both want a better space for gambling online as I view Sports betting on par with Stock Trading as you can profit from both, sure you can also lose your money as well, in the end it’s just about being smart.

I am aware this is a multipart series, and we are only on Part 2; so we can hope that CoffeeZilla comes around and won’t throw the baby out with the bath water.

E-Sports and Sports in general require clean and open gambling to keep people away from the shady and rotten gambling platforms; Also, I would like to remind people that just because something is regulated doesn’t mean it’s honest or trusted.

I mean William Hill a major sports betting platform and physical retail location isn’t above shady practices ether.

Sadly, that is for another time as I could write a whole entry related to the scummy tactics of William Hill, Bet365 and 1xbet.

After seeing Parts 1 and 2 I am not sure if I have a good feeling about where this series of Videos from CoffeeZilla is heading; I will have to keep everyone in the loop. If you want to read more of the story I would recommend checking out “Cults, vendettas, gambling: how a ten-year long feud led to a stage invasion at the CS2 major” from Internet Talk as the article had some great history and some of the history has been lost to time, only left in the minds of those of old like myself.

Until next time
